Excel Easy Reports vi's not working

I have an existing vi that I am trying to get working. The report contains Easy Report vi's (such as Excel Easy Text.vi) but they seem to be broken.

For example, the Excel Easy Text.vi says that Excel Merge Cells.vi is broken. When I look at that, it says that there unbundle by name contains a bad input. Sure enough, the input wire to that control does not contain the name in the control.

Since those come from NI, my assumption is that at one time it must have worked.

Any ideas. I am using LV6.1.

The errors you are seeing can happen when you reinstall or upgrade LV but don't reinstall the Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office. The toolkit installs updated versions of some of the same files that the LV installer installs plus many new files specific to the toolkit. When you reinstall/upgrade LV, the original versions of the shared files get copied over the Toolkit version of the same files. So after installing/upgrading LV you must reinstall the toolkit. 

So, I recommend finding your Toolkit installation CD and reinstalling the Toolkit.
