Sounds like a bug in LabVIEW 64-bit.

Also sounds like you've got the appropriate workarounds for the bug.

It does raise the question of if LabVIEW 64-bit is actually needed.

A lot of us developers avoid LabVIEW 64-bit because most toolkits don't support it and unless you're working with large datasets, there's not a huge benefit.

.....Working with large amounts of image data.  In many cases, I can organize things to pull the image data off of disk.   But not always.....

Use LabVIEW 64-bit + Vision toolkit 64-bit + ASP toolkit 64-bit.
