Express VI Statistics, average value: For how many Signals?

Hi,

i am analyzing Measurements and i try to use a Express VI Statistics Element. I have the option to choose a so called "average value" which would mean sum of signals over count of Signals right?

But for how many signals?I am getting Signals at 1kHz and after an hour is still have over a thousend values coming out of the statistics element.

There is no option to configure this and nothing said about it in the help files.

Anyone any idea?

Hi Anmanda,

with the Statistics Express VI you can get the arithmetic mean of each signal you desire to evaluate. That is, for each signal, the arithmetic mean is given by the sum of the values of the samples divided by the number of samples you observed.

Could you please clarify what "after an hour is still have over a thousend values coming " means? Otherwise, is it possible for you to post here your VI?
