Tried the write to text last night, seemed to clear up the beginning of line character, and Ravens Fan reply will get me on the right track for fixing the header. I don't have any explanation, besides hopefully momentary incompetence. On my previous program which used a similar write function I managed to pick write to text, perhaps out of luck. I'll also play around with the shift registers, those could come in handy.
