Is there anyway to extract the VI from its EXE???

Please let me know if you have any comment on this.

Thanks,

Hi Sathish,

it depends on the LV version and what you want to have. Smiley Wink

Before LV8 an exe was just a renamed llb-file (more or less), that was containing all vis needed for the exe. BUT: all vis had their block diagram stripped... So atleast you can look at the frontpanel.

This has changed since then, so for LV8+: NO.

Best regards,
GerdW

Have you tried a search? This question has been asked many times before. The short answer: no. If you want the long answer... search. Smiley Wink

I have lost my VIs and having only the EXE in another PC. Now needs to update few thing in that EXE.

The EXE has been built in LV8.5.

Then you will need to go to a backup. You have backups right? If you don't, then consider this a hard lesson learned. Smiley Wink
