FMCW Radar using Labview Communication EXTRA AM CARRIER ???

Good Evening Everyone

This is my first topic in this forum, I am currently doing my senior design project. And I am facing some problems which I need help with.

I am currently using 2 USRP's 2922 to transmit and receive a chirp signal, at 2.4GHz carrier frequency, and there is no problem with the transmission part. However, at the receiver part,  the frequency is higher by *100 of the transmitter frequency,  which also affect the amplitude of the demodulated signal, and i believe that there is an extra hidden carrier that do this.

There is also a huge change in the frequency of the original signal which is a triangular wave. The Waveforms are attached.

Thank You

  1. How exactly do you have your hardware configured? Cabled Loopback? Antennas? Can you provide a picture?
  2. Do you have more details on your code and the configurations that you are setting for your waveforms?
  3. Which version of LabVIEW Communications are you using?
  4. Are you using one of the getting started examples in LabVIEW Communications?
    1. If so, which one? If not, do you see the same behavior with one of those examples?
  5. What is your end goal for your senior design project?
