My quick status: I got a 2020 stack set up to try to reproduce the original issue on this thread. I only had a sbrio around so chopped out the IO but that did not reproduce the issue so I'm hunting down a 9035 and 9853 to borrow. I did briefly scan through the generated code from the original project and nothing immediately jumped out as wrong but I'll keep digging.
