FPGA FIFO memory allocation

How is it with the memory for FIFO in FPGA when I want to implement it in "Block Memory " ? Can I specify various FIFOs when it is created or the size must fit to whole memory blocks ? What's the minimum size of FIFO ? Is it limited ?
