Hi Guys,
I am actually trying to install a software to make it compatible for my FPGA device of an optical tweezers. However, in the labview project window, i am suppose to be able to carry out the following steps through "My Computer - New -Target and Devices - FPGA target - RIO0:INSTR (PCI78xxR)
As shown in the "Correct Function" attachment. However, what i got was the second attachment (LabView Files for tweezer system) below. I was unable to find the "Target and Devices caption".
**My current Labview Version is 2013 and through NIMAX, I was able to see the connection between my desktop with the RIO0:INSTR (PCI78xxR) device.
Please Kindly advise and thank you in advance.
Regards,
Scott

Right click on the Project to create a new target. Don't right click on My Computer.

No, if the FPGA card is in the development PC then right-clicking My Computer is correct. Targets in the PC can be added like this.
@scoot: Which LabVIEW modules do you have installed? I guess you have the FPGA module installed. Do you also have the Real-time module?

Thanks RavensFan and Dan_U,
I mangage to solve the issue.
Dan_U: Currently, my developmenty PC is installed with NU-USB-9215A (BNC) and NI PCIe-7841R. Are you referring to this when you asking which modules i am installed with? In addition, I do not think i am installed with a Real-time module. Is a necessity to do so?

Scott

Scott,
no need for the Real-time module when the FPGA sits directly in the development PC.
I meant the software modules installed with LabVIEW. But if you solved the issue then the FPGA module is installed, so everything's fine.
