FPGA wont run with reference vi

Hello LabVIEW community,

I have a problem with the reference VI in my RT main VI.

My compactRIO is connected and I can run the FPGA VI.

But when I run my RT VI that has a reference to the FPGA it wont start the FPGA VI.

What could go wrong here?

I hope someone can help me.

Hi Victor,

I usually open the reference to the bitfile instead of referencing the VI or BuildSpec when deploying software to the cRIO.

How did you configure the OpenFPGAReference node?

Hello GerdW,

I try both methods with Vi and the bitfile but it still does not want to work.

I also made a error indicator after the reference but it is not giving a error.

Look for a shipping example that is close to what you want to do and see if you can get that work.
