File Dialog

My default file path works in XP but will not work with Windows7

I am using the Labview 8.2.1 File Dialog.vi

Any Ideas?

Are we supposed to guess what your filepath is? And what you mean by "will not work"?

How about providing a few more details? Let's start with what the filepath is.

Hi A Hinz,

To start, Windows 7 isn't a supported operating system for LabVIEW 8.2.1, so this could be part of the reason that you're seeing unexpected behavior.  However, it may still work; it just hasn't been tested.

Are you referring to the path that you're wiring into the File Dialog.vi?  Does this path exist in both systems?  If you're not wiring anything to this path, then this could be one place where the difference between XP and 7 may be showing.  In that case, you can try to wire a path that makes sense for Windows 7.
