Finding the area under an X-Y Graph curve.

Is there a way to keep a running total of the area under a curve and display it next to the graph? I am going to be taking in current data via GPIB and plotting it vs. time. It will stay constant and then gradually slope down. Does LV 6.i have a way to do this, or just by manually cranking it out with calculations and a shift register?

I think you can use "Numerical Integration.vi", located in:

Analyze -> Mathematics -> Calculus

I don't really have an answer to your question, but didn't know how else to contact you. I would like to do this too, but the numerical integration.vi referred to in another answer seems to require the data set be evenly spaced on the x axis. Just wondering what you came up with.

Thanks
