Font size varies in different Windows versions.

I have developed my programme in Windows 2000 using true type fonts. When I run the programme in Windows ME some fonts look slightly larger. I have used Windows defaults fonts, for instance Comic Sans Ms. Could it be that fonts in Windows 2000 are different from fonts in Windows ME, though they are named the same? If this is the case, maybe installing fonts from Windows 2000 could help. But how can I do it? I don't want to lose my old fonts. Thank you for your time.

Hello,

I found some helpful information in KnowledgeBase entry 1ANGPR4V on the NI website...I found this entry by searching for +windows +fonts +different . It appears from this KnowledgeBase entry that the same font on different computers could look different as a result of differences between the computers, most noteably differences in the video driver.

I hope the explanation in this KnowledgeBase entry helps you out. Good luck with your application, and have a pleasant day.

Sincerely,
