Frequency output with NI 5112

I am trying to use my NI 5112 digitizer to output a frequency signal on the PFI1.
I've seen a few examples with other digitizers but not this one.
Is it possible?

Hi

Thank you for posting your question on the National Instruments Discussion Forum.

The 5112 does not support output of the sample clock or generation of a TTL pulse on a PFI line. However NI-Scope does support the output of the 10 MHz PLL reference clock. You specify the location of the 10 MHz clock using the Configure Clock function. The available outputs are PFI1, PFI2, and RTSI_Clock. By the way the NI 5112 doesn't support NI-DAQ function calls. The NI 5102 can generate an arbitrary frequency TTL signal using NI-DAQ.

Hope this helps!

You can also turn on the probe compensation signal, but it, too, is a fixed frequency (1kHz if I remember correctly).
