Front panel precidence

Is there any way to "sneak" a picture ring indicator behind already
present control buttons?

I know that if the picture ring indicator is placed first on the front
panel that other controls and indicators can be later placed on it, but
this is an existing vi with a number of controls already
on the front panel. Now if I place the picture ring indicator on the
front panel it covers up the buttons.

All of the buttons have extensive wiring to attribute nodes so that
deleting and replacing them would be a lot of work.

You should be able to highlight the desired control and select "Move to
Back" from the tool bar menu bar reorder pick list. Or use Ctrl-Shift-J.
Hope this works.

There's a little icon at the right side of the toolbar. It's called reorder.
