This question is for all who have a fulltime LabVIEW Job.
What do you do on a typical work day/week?
How many percent of your time do you use for programming, documentation, communication with costumers, communication with your team/colleagues, hardware selection, etc, etc.

I am a labview programmer from last two years and I work 9 hours everyday in labview (except sunday ).

Hello Ranjeet_Singh
So you program 9 hours a day? Do you get the specifications from a lead programmer or software manager?
Could you please elaborate?

Most people work on modules which require significant time to implement. As such a lot of work can be done autonomously. I program for about a week between meetings because the scope of the code we work on is compatible with that.
Others may vary.
My day is testing : Writing : testing : writing and so on

Programming involes documentation, simulation and testing apart from programming. My 1 project takes 2 months approx including programming, documentation, simulation and testing etc. I will get communication documentaion from my senior then get busy for 2 months .
It basically involves lot of things which is difficult to describe.

For me it varies. At times I am programming almost full time, at other times I am working with connecting the DAQ to the device under test, Checking test procedures, (re) configuration the software configfiles for the new ( changed) test specifications.
At the moment I am installing the required software and drivers to the PC that will run the test in the end. So the time spent in LV vary from job to job and from task to task.
Programming means in my case mostly of 1/4 making the code and for 3/4 of testing and debugging the code.

I usually don't make comments on spelling errors because I realize that folks on these forums are multi-lingual or fast typers or have any number of reasons for a misspelling. But, when it's funny, I comment. Otherwise I wouldn't have any kudos!
What do you call someone that can only speak one language?
By the way, did you misspell 'observation' on purpose?
