The GPIB-ENET driver for Windows 2000 does not use the Measurment & Automation Explorer (MAX) interface to add a GPIB-ENET to your system. Instead, you must use the GPIB Configuration Utility, which is available in your Control Panel (Star >> Settings >> Control Panel >> GPIB). For more information on installing a GPIB-ENET under Windows 2000 check out the GPIB Installation Wizard at http://www.ni.com/support/gpib. Choose "Windows 2000" as your Operating System and "GPIB-ENET" as your GPIB Hardware from two pull-down menus, and then press the "Go" button. You will see GPIB-ENET-specific installation assistance for Windows 2000, including a step-by-step installation guide for adding a GPIB-ENET to your system.
The other way to find this GPIB Installation Wizard is to
go to the main National Instruments Support site (http://www.ni.com/support) and choose GPIB from the list of products. This will take you to the main GPIB Support page (http://www.ni.com/support/gpibsupp.htm), where you will find the link for the GPIB Installation Wizard.
