Generate Signal for Rele'

    Hi all,
let me start telling you about my configuration.
I've a PCI 6229 with SCB68 and i need to make a rele' work.
This rele' need a +5V signal to work....must be a square signal
where the high level corrispond a 5V and should keep high for certain time......


I just dont know if i could generate the 5 V on any AOs of my board.

Is there any example i could use for my needs?.

Instead, use the DIO lines on your PCI 6229 to control your relay.

Note: Do read the specs of your relays in detail and assure that they match with the electrical characterstics and operational conditions your Digital Output lines of your PCI 6229.

You will find relevant examples to perform Digital output in Examples shipped with LabVIEW

You mean that using the DIO i could reach easily the 5V ?

Digital levels are TTL compliant:

High 2.2-5.25

Low 0-0.8

Current capabilities are +/- 24mA for P0.1-31 lines and +/-16mA for PFI and P1/2 lines.

If digital output specifications match the input specifications of your relays you should not face difficulties in operating your system.
