Using DAQ (PXIe-6124) and waveform generator (PXI-5421), I would like to make a sweeping program, one of similar complicated works.
My waveform generator supports the script mode for varying frequency.
I want to acquire data for a finite time (<50ms), and then generator a singal to change a frequency in the waveform generator.
(I have to use this script mode in my further applications.)
In my rough thinking, it is possible to use a trigger signal from DAQ to Signal generator like a switch.
Is there a simple way to generate a pulse signal trains for continuous data acquisitions in DAQ with waveform generation?
How to connect between DAQ and Generator?
In fast acquisition, I am worrying about the timing and synchronization (start, end, repetition) in other development after this.
Therefore, I don't want to design a pulse in DAQ digital channel.
Please propose more suitable idea if you have.
