Sorry, I have to circle back to this. What version of LabVIEW are you using? I only get the icon terminal?????
Never mind- I was being dumb. If you open a vi ref that has terminals it does indeed show them. If you don't give it a vi ref it apparently uses a ref to itself. Thanks again Darren and Paul.
