Get latest version: New vi's do not appear

Hi, George,

But from my point of view here is clear bug, as Ton mentioned.
In general it should be no any scenario possible when data lost occurred when we working with SCC.
If I perform Check Out for project, then LabVIEW should:
a) Get Latest Version from SCC
b) Show me all changes which are made by other developer.
Actually b) is missing. I can see all changes only if I will reload the project.
If it impossible to automatically reload the project due to some reasons, then LabVIEW should show prompt about this, but not simple overwrite just checked out file with copy from memory!

Andrey.

As I explained a) is caused by a technical issue with SourceSafe. If it returned the status that the file was out of date, the mechanisms in LabVIEW would notify you that you need to get the latest copy which would reduce the chances of b).

Your use case and concerns are valid, but LabVIEW is limited by the functionality of the external source control provider.
