Get "resource not found" error message when I download a vi to cFP.

I am using cFP2120 and LV8.20. When I download a vi to cFP, get error message " Download completely with errors, LabVIEW: Resource not found". The vi can still run on cFP but will lost connection at second time when I try to run the vi.

Now I can get rid of that download error by updraging the software on the controller. But still lost connection at the second time running.

Hi Ya-hoo,

Does this happen with any VI that you try to deploy on the RT target or only with a specific one? Try downloading a very simple VI and see if it downloads correctly. Did you install all the drivers on your RT target. When you expand the software section under your RT target do you have at least the following items:

FieldPoint Drivers 5.2.0
FieldPoint VI Manager 4.1.0
LabVIEW Real-Time 8.2

If you don't, then right-click on Software and select Add/Remove Software and upload whatever is missing.
You can also try formating the flash and reinstalling the software from scratch.

It is caused by RT FIFO. The RI FIFO refs are not deleted correctly. The vi crashed LabVIEW if it runs at LabVIEW or lost connection if it runs on RT. I will send NI service request email with the vi attatched.
