Goop in 8.2

After I create a class using the GOOP Wizard, I open the template files to create a vi.  In doing so, I get an error message saying that the password has been tamperd with by another user.  Then, once the vi template opens, the get data to modify vi is missing.

Do I have to upgrade GoopWiz along with 8.2?  What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

The GOOP Wizard software package is produced by Endevo, and is not officially supported by NI.

With LabVIEW 8.20, we introduced native support within LabVIEW for object-oriented constructs, which for some time was a feature only supported by third-party products such as this.  According to Endevo's site, their development group is considering releasing an updated version of their product that has been tested with 8.20.  For specific issues regarding the GOOP Wizard, I encourage you to contact them directly, since they would be able to give you the most effective support.
Cheers,

Hi,

I have seen the same problem. Additionally there is a message saying that someone tried to modify the password to the block diagram of the VI. What does this mean? Talking to Endevo, they suggested asking NI about the reason for this problem. It seems like a LabVIEW 8.2 problem as the GOOP Wizard v1 is working fine with LabVIEW 7.x.
