Hi Sodlb,

How are you planning to connect your HDSP sound card to your computer?  When you state that LabVIEW is not detecting the sound card, what do you mean?

LabVIEW does not have inherent technology that will recognize your sound card for you; however, if you have the drivers that communicates to the sound card, you may be able to call the driver in LabVIEW.

I hope this helps

Thank you Nadim...

But using that HDSP Sound Card...in LabVIEW i was able to Pump only waveforms of some fixed Samplig frequency...

where as if I use a different softwares similar Cool Edit the same card is pumping all sampling Freqs till 96k....

how can i make the same in LabVIEW....so that it will pump all sampling freqs...till 96k...

Does it need any special WDM drivers...? if it is where can i get it for HDSP9632 sound card....?

Regards,

Sodlb

Hi,

It sounds like Hammerfall makes this sound card device:

http://www.rme-audio.com/english/hdsp/hdsp9632.htm

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HDSP9632/

I would follow up with Hammerfal to see if they have a driver that is compliant with conventional C calling or written using a dll.  Usually to call a driver in LabVIEW that is written in C, one would use a Call Interface Node.
http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361B-01/glang/code_interface_node/

If you are calling a dll, you would use the Call Library Function Node:
http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361B-01/glang/call_library_function/

I hope this helps,
