Hello,

What kind of webcam do you have? Is there any ActiveX contol or any dll provided with your webcam? How is recognized the sound peripheral of your webcam (like a soundcard?) ?

Thank you,

Regards,

Hello

As Benjamin said, some more info will help to understand your problem.

In the meanwhile, you can try the next modifications:
Using a sound recordig example  from labview, in the "Si config" change the "device ID" 0 ( sound card) for 1,2,3.... until you get the sound from the webcam mic. This should help if the webcam driver installs, too ,the mic driver as anothe windows sound device.

Hope it helps

Hi

For logitech pro 4000 under windows XP, you can select it as default mic (device 0) in Start>configuration>control panel>Sound devices.

Also, You can select it in mixer>recording as source and you will be able to control the recording level as a standard mic.

Hope it helps
