I'm not using an HMI nor a NI product, I'm using a Lenovo W530 laptop with Windows 7. I guess that the refreshing rate of the screen is higher than the HMI's. I understand that this HMI library is made for HMI. I'm supposed to implement my application on a touch screen with Windows 7 Embedded soon, it'll probably work fine then. Thank you for your help!

Hi AlexDarsigny
Your welcome, as you will be using a Windows 7 embedded system similar to the one I was using you should not have any problem if the refresh rate is good enough on the touch screen that you will use.
Good luck with your application

Hi everyone,
I received my touch screen with Windows 7 embedded. I get the exact same behaviour I had on my laptop (please consult the video I sent on page 1 of this thread). I guess the navigation between pages was made for NI touch screen only. I think I'm at a point where I got to control the labview application or the machine itself because I have time to see a page closing and another one opening. FYI, my screen refresh frequency is 60 Hz and it can't be lower.
Any idea?
Thanks.

Hi AlexDarsigny
Could you tell me more about the touch panel that you are using? Brand model specifications?
How are you deploying the executable or the application to the touch panel? Using the touch panel module? Or you are copying the executable to the touch panel?

I'm using this screen.
For now, I'm not using executable. I installed LabVIEW 2013 on the screen and I run my application like on a normal computer. I'm using my finger instead of a mouse, that's the only difference.

Hi AlexDarsigny
Let’s try to check the performance options that the touch panel has check, that way we might discard that what we are seeing is a windows OS effect.
Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts - Enable or Disable
If you can select the option “Adjust for best performance” just as a test in order to see if we have the same behavior.

Every options are now uncheked, the appearance changes a lot but there's still the same behaviour in the page navigation.

Hi AlexDarsigny
The option is check and all the appearances and effects are unchecked in the image that you uploaded, but did windows apply the changes. Because when apply that option window should look very different almost like an old version of windows.

Hi AlexDarsigny
So even with the entire effects disable and the option of “Adjust for best performance” check you still see the desktop when you change from one window to the next one?
Are you still using a LabVIEW example or are you using your code?
Have change anything in the configuration or disable any options for the integrated in Intel GFX graphics card? What options does it provide?
