HOW TO WRITE A COMMAND NOT AVAILABLE ON AN IVI DRIVER

I want to write a command to my DMM and it is not available on the IVI DMM driver vis. How do I do this?
Labview 7.1, Windows 2000.

Should be able to just use a VISA Write with the correct VISA Resource Name.

Hi Nancy,

If you are using an IVI driver developed by NI, you should use two specific driver VIs provided with the driver:

Write Instrument Data.vi
Read Instrument Data.vi

These VIs can be found under the Utility>Instrument I/O palette.
