HP 8757D Scalar Network Analyzer

Hi,

 

 

    Im looking for the command that i have to send to the scalar network analyser to set the mark on a frequency determinated by me , like a SCPI command , but im not finding on his manual , and i question for google and nothing yet too ... Im using GPIB communication and according with manual isnt SCPI command this time , its HP IB command .

That instrument is currently supported by Agilent and that would be the best place to get your question answered. I've use it but is has been a long time and I don't have the manual.

 

I don't understand what your last sentence means and if you have a question there.

I was looking for mark set on his manual , but i didnt find =\ ... i found some commands named detector frequency ,but this commands use a range of frequency , and im needing put a mark ( have 9 markers ) in 1 frequency only , not in a range of it .... Sry bother u , but can u try find some project when u used it please and tell me the command to set marks ? ..

Sorry, I wrote the code when the instrument was new and that was at least a dozen years ago. My archives aren't quite that old.

 

I still think you would get a quicker answer from www.agilent.com but if you want to try something yourself, see if you can set the marker manually from the front panel and then save the instrument settings. With some instruments you can save the settings in the form of GPIB commands. You would probably have to go through a large number of commands but it is worth a shot.
