I´m using LsabVIEW 8.0 and the latest HP3458a drivers for ver. 8.0
In the HP3458a Getting Started.vi it is possible to select the function (DCV, AC, ...) the resolution(absolute) and the range. So that the DMM measures more accurately you have to increase the Aperture (NPLC), then the DMM reads more slowly. According to the help when the resolution is increased and the range decreases, the instrument will measure more accurately and slowly. In other words, the Aperture or NPLC will be increased. However, this does not happend the DMM does not change the aperture (I have used the HP3458a Get Aperture Time Info and it always reads 10, no matter the changes you do in the range, in the resolutiuon or in both of them.
Is there anyone who´s able to help me.
