Has anyone encountered an "Error 1335. The cabinet file 'mib.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with the package."? I am trying to install LV 2009 SP1 on my Windows XP system and encountered this error on the FPGA module.
I have tried everything suggested in a post from 2004 including a reinstall with no luck. This software has been loaded on other laptops within my group with no problems. Does anyone have any ideas?

Is this error different from the one listed in LV? The one I read has something to do with updating a UI control.

The error he's referring to is an MSI error.
Where are you installing the software from? DVD? Network share? In either of these cases, have you tried copying the installation files onto the hard drive?

I was installing from a DVD. I also tried installing them from NI.com/software with no success. Today, I will try transferring the files and running the setup.exe locally.
Thanks for the input!
