Having trouble configuring tbx-1303

I'm trying to configure my tbx-1303 with my scxi-1102 through max and I'm getting false readings during test phase. I have the tc connected correctly and am reading -115F during test. What is wrong?

Is your thermocouple hooked up backwards?

No. The thermocouple is hooked up right. It's just reading ~ -115F. When I apply heat it reads correctly heading towards 0 F. It's almost like the voltage settings are not being read properly.

Hello;

At this point, the problem can be anywhere, at your thermocouple, at the terminal block, SCXI module, or even at the DAQ board.

I advise you to try narrowing down the possibilities, by hooking up a well behaved DC signal to your set up, and use Measurement and Automation Explorer Test Panel to do the readings.

Hope this helps.

I am currently doing just that. I'm using the 6025E to generate an output signal of 3.0 vdc and running this through my 1303. I get ~234F. When I adjust the voltage up or down It does not change.
I had previously tested the 1102 with a scxi 1303 I borrowed from another dept. and had no problems. I also changed out the 96-96 cable with another one and got the same results. So I've eliminated all the possibilities except the tbx-1303 or maybe the 96-96 cable. Any ideas??
