Providing you have the appropriate I/O modules on the CQM1, you already have all you need to communicate with it from Labview. You can set up the Lookout OPC server to monitor specific points/registers in the CQM1, and write values back to the unit. You must, of course, have the logic in the CQM1 to perform the final control.
I have set up several systems with Labview, the Lookout OPC server, and both the CQM1 and CPM1 Omrons. It is fairly straight-forward. If you need more help, you can provide more specific details of the area in which you are having problems, and we can attempt to help.

Thank you very much for your answer. I´m having problems giving orders to the CQM1, and controlling the signal in the manner required. I not be able to set up a frecuency, amplitude in the device (Omrom CQM1. There are a specifics commands to read and write in a specific form or the control is through LABVIEW? if the control is with LABVIEW, how can I do it?

I still an not quite clear on specifically what you are trying to accomplish with the CQM1. The Lookout OPC server
will address/send values to the CQM1 registers that you pre-configure in the server. It cannot alter the program logic of the CQM1; it can only send/read register values. Are you able to get the CQM1 to perform the required actions via local programming(not from Labview)? Possibly if you were to describe the logic of the CQM1 in detail, I could be of more help.

Hola

Tengo problemas haciendo la misma interface entre CQM1H y OPC. El OPC Server me devuelve ALARM por TIME OUT. He conectado el cable serial desde el PLC a la PC. Antes probe que el cable funcione bien entre PLC y PC utilizando el CX-PROGRAMER para comunicar con el PLC.

Alguna ayuda posible?

Hola Jose David, que OPC estas utilizando?, Si tienes comunicación entre tu computadora y PLC pero falla la comunicación entre el OPC y el PLC? La configuración y direcciones entre los dos es correcta? La comunicación es por cable serial?
