Help! Labview won't recognize DAQmx. Error -229771

Hello,

I am setting up a test on labview 2017 64 bit which utilizes a DAQmx. Everything was working until my laptop restart and ever since my computer no longer recognizes when I plug my DAQmx in. Now when I run my previously working VI it no longer works and I get an error message -229771 stating "Internal software error occurred in MIG software." I used to be able to plug in the DAQmx USB and the computer would automatically pop-up a prompt where I could configure it. Now when I plug in my DAQmx the NI Device Monitor says "No NI devices detected".

I looked around for similar problems and found that when I search "run" in windows and look up the msconfig services that NI Device Loader is "stopped". I found an article that explains how to fix this but I still have this problem. NI device manager still won't recognize my DAQmx and when I try to configure a signal in a DAQ assistant I cannot find any channels. When I restart the laptop I find the NI Device Loader is "stopped" again. Not sure what to do next.

Of course my boss left for the week. Needless to say this has been extremely frustrating. I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Attached are some pictures of the errors and problems I'm facing. Below is two links I found to reference my problem.

Hello,

I will assume that you already cover the steps recommended by the articles you linked.

1.  The first thing you have to verify, is that Windows detects the hardware. You can go to Windows Device Manager and check on this.

2. If you can see the device in Windows Device Manager but it has a yellow icon, it means that there is an error. Please, attach an screenshot of it (right-click properties may work).

3. If Windows does not detects the device try plugging it in a different machine.
