Hi.
I am controlling a pressure tank system using LabVIEW and DAQ 6009. The input to the DAQ from system will be a voltage( corresponding to 4mA- 20mA current from pressure sensor ).
The output from Labview to the DAQ ultimately to the system will be a voltage 0-5V which will then be converted to 4mA - 20mA current by a V-I converter. This current will then be given to a Watson Smith Current-Pressure converter.
I need help with LabVIEW Modelling.
I have attached a VI named "try1.vi".
Here I have introduced PID and Transfer Function blocks, which gives step response. How to give a set point and a process variable here ? I do not see any terminal in PID block for these.
The other file is named "overall system.vi".
Here I used another PID block which has setpoint/process variable as i/p. But here I cannot include my system transfer functions.
Please show me how I can have my DAQ assistant blocks, PID block as well as system transfer function blocks all in one single VI.
