Help with trigger and USB 6501

I want to take EEG signals using Biopac MP100 To start tha acquisition I want to send a trigger through NI USB 6501. Could someone send me a LabView example that sends trigger to 6501? Such I know tha trigger is given by pin 17 of 6501. Do you know if it needs another connection?

Hi panos_tg,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the NI forums!  After scanning the manual for the MP100,  it looks like it can accept an external TTL/CMOS trigger signal.  I am assuming that you want to use the 6501 to send this trigger signal to the MP100. 

I suggest you start with the following example:

Help >> Find Examples... >> Hardware Input and Output >> DAQmx >> Digital Generation >> Write Dig Chan.vi

This should be a good starting point for what it sounds like you need.  From scanning the MP100 manual it doesn't appear to require any other connection--the 6501 outputs TTL compatible signals.

Thank you for your response! I just want a simple example that sents a trigger to USB 6501 and then 6501 sends a trigger to BIopac. I'm going to try this example! Thank you very mutch!
