Heracell Incubator Thermo Fischer

I will use a Thermo Fischer Incubator Heracell 240 soon ion a LabView
controlled system. Has anybody written a driver with VIs to control it/
read it out and has some pleasure to share it with me?
Thanks

Hello Mr. Bögli,

unfortunately we did not have any driver like this. But I try to help you find a way perhaps with a workaround. Can you tell me anything more about your device? Please let me know more detailed specifications. What kind of interfaces do you have? Are there any I/O`s where we can work with? Did you know anything about the used protocol for the device?

Best wishes

Thanks for the answer.
I'm sorry for the unclear question I put here.
The system has a RS232 interface and a couple of commands to set/read
parameters and for reading error messages. It could be implemented with
LabView, not really a problem, but some work....
I thought maybe somebody has done this before and could share code and
we would share their and our code as in an open source project....

Hello Urs,

thank you for your informations. Till now I could not found anything on our homepage about the Heracell Incubator Thermo Fischer, but I think that this is no surprise for you. What I can do for you is to recommend that ypu use the "Advanced Serial Write and Read.vi" from the example finder. Use the given structure to communicate with your device. You should have the instruction set of your machine and with this you can response it. I think you have to create a user defined program for your issue but sorry, we (NI) do not have a finished version.

Best wishes,
