Hex 0x80DF0019 while deploying the model to run it with solidworks

Hello.

I'm trying to run a project but it keep showing me the same error all the time and don't know what to do to fix it.

When I press Deploy, then the window with the deployment progress (attached picture) gives me this error "Hex 0x80DF0019 The deployment connection has timed out. I have installed labview 2010 (student edition x86), solidworks 2011 (x64), softmotion and some others (you can see from the my licence manager" that is attached).  But when I tried it on a friends pc (with xp installed) it was working fine, everything deployed on labview and running on solidworks.

Please help....have installed and uninstalled so many times the softwares and now I don't know what is wrong or what else should I install so that it start working...

Hi Geras,

I'm an Applications Engineer at National Instruments and I'll be assisting you with this issue. The deployment connection is timing out, this could be because the compiler is havign trouble accessing solidworks and the drivers/add-ins that are associated with using it as a target within LabVIEW.

When you try to deploy your code, do you have solidworks running in the background?

Have you seen (or been working from) the getting started document and can you confirm you have all of the required software installed?

Thanks,

Kind regards,

Hello.

Yes, solidworks is running in the backgrounng with all the required settings and addins (will upload soon a pic of it as well).

I have seen the getting started document many times, this is from where I started from. I followed all the steps required there.

I have installed most of the required softwares...but I don't know if I am missing something (I have uploaded the picture of my NI Licence Manager where most of the softwares I installed are there)

The most important one are there: Labview 2010, Softmotion, NI-Rio.

I always get the same error: "Hex 0x80DF0019 The deployment connection has timed out"

Thank you

Hi Geras,

Sorry for the delay in my response.

Do you have the Real-Time Module for 2010 SP1 installed?

http://digital.ni.com/src.nsf/websearch/815E5368FE6D4BA586257880005141FC?OpenDocument&node=node=2030...

The Real-Time module is listed as required software but from your license screen-shot I can only see Real-Time 2010. Perhaps it could be a problem with versions.

Try matching up the versions and giving it another go, either by downloading RT 2010 SP1, or by using LabVIEW 2010 and see if that works.

Kind regards,

Hello.

I installed the software you suggested me, but still nothing, the same error.

Would it help if I upload the files here?

Also, while I was installing the software you suggested me, a window came up in the end of the installation asking about National Instrument Device Drivers (To install them Now or Later). When I pressed now, it did nothing, so I pressed later.

Thank you.

Feel free to upload your project if you like, it can't hurt.

I don't think this problem is related to drivers, because no drivers are listed as required software, but you could upload a MAX report as well just to be sure. Open MAX and go to File >> Create Report >> Technical Support.

Please could you also expand the "modules" section of the license manager and upload another screenshot of it?

Thanks,
