You want time increment in micro-seconds?

Which LV version are you using?  Is it the LV-RT?  And what OS are you running the VI on?

Best that windoze can do is milli-seconds.

I set the axis to SI notation instead. I assume you are using a graph.

I have the data graph y axis and x axis. The data is captured in micro seconds. they are big numbers, so dificult to understand the time in graph x scale. so i am trying to use the time format. i need something like this.

0:00:01     0:00:02   ... 0:01:99 ... etc...

if not possible what is the better way to represent this?

Back to my original questions:

What OS are you running this on?  What hardware are you using?  What resolution do you need to show on the graph?  is it also microseconds?

I think the way you want to represent microseconds is confusing. Most people are going to think the xx:xx:xx format is hours:minutes:seconds. I think it would make more sense to represent microseconds as scientific i.e. n.ne-6

If you use SI notation, it will produce the correct short hand notation for the differ values, thus for 5 usec will appear as 5u

You're right. SI would be better.

Seems to be SI notation is correct for my purpose.
How do i change the format of SI Notation? currently it shows 1M 2M etc.. I want to represent it in milli seconds or micro seconds.
Thank you,

Go to the graph or chart properties, Display Formtat. Select your axis and select si notation
