I am trying to use some third party ocx into Labview. The control are related to database connection. (e.g. retrieve data from Acces97).
Some of them required connection with data controls. Is there anyone that knows what means a data control under Labview ?

Hi,


That will be the Automation RefNum control find in the ActiveX palette.
When you place this on your front panel, right mouse click on the control and Select ActiveX Class and browse for your third party ocx. A dialog box will appear. select the Type Library control and select required item.
