HiTech Global Virtex 7 Boards

Hello,

Does anyone know if LabVIEW FPGA can be used to program HiTech Global Virtex 7 (Xilinx) boards?  In particular, here is the family of board I am talking about:

If this is possible, any direction you could point me in to get started would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

BB

Unfortunately, LabVIEW FPGA can only be used to progam the FPGAs on National Instrument products.

Yes, that is unfortunate.  The reason why I thought it would be possible, though, is I found an NI produced webcast that shows LabVIEW FPGA being used to program a Spartan 3E (non-NI) starter board.  Go to about the 8:30 mark in the below video:

The board depicted in the above video, appears to be this one:

Can the setup used in the above referenced video not be extended to other non-NI FPGA boards?

Thanks,

BB

I think I understand now.  Looks like NI was at one time supporting that Spartan board for educational purposes only.  Nonetheless, it would be really cool if NI were to support Xilinx FPGA's for other board manufacturers or if there is anyone out there that has created a LabVIEW FPGA driver to support other board manufacturers (if that is even possible and legal).

Thanks,

BB
