Hide probe watch window

Hello,

Is it possible to hide this Probe watch window?

I am fed up with this as I do not see any option to completely get rid of it. The only thing I could do is to make the probe to launch in its own window but still the probe window is standing there and laughing at me  (that on top of all vi making me to click the vi and then CTRL+R)

Any suggestions?

Guru

Hi Guru,

At first I was thinking what kind of question is that and was wondering what could be the problem in minimizing or closing the probe window but as I saw ur signature and I realized I should avoid making fool of myself by posting something redundant.

Can you tell me exactly what is the issue. Its not very clear to me what the problem is? Let me know how can I be of any help reg this.

I'm a fool alredy so...

I prefer the old style of probes myself but that may be because I haven'y used the new style much.

For the new version I click on the entry I just created and do the "open ..." thing then minimize the PW window.

I think the issue is quite clear and relevant. Unlike the previous individually floating probes, which hid themselves when you switched to the front panel, the Probe Window is always in your face. It's annoying. I'm always trying to shove it out of the way. At a minimum I think the Probe Window should have a checkbox that says "Always on top". There was an idea posted in the LabVIEW Idea Exchange on changing the probe placement
