How Can I see the BlockDiagram of a password protected VI

 

I need to modify some VI but I can to open the Block Diagram because are password protected.

I can to find into the forum tahn can help.

Any body has an I dea how?

The only way to view the block diagram of a password protected VI is to enter the correct passsword.

This has come up several times before. See here, for example. You can always try the brute force method: keep guessing.

I nearly learned this lesson the hard way: If you have something you want to distribute but need to do it securely, then keep a backup copy that is not protected by the same means. Example: email yourself a copy of the unprotected file (not for extremely sensitive stuff, of course) or save it to a flash drive that you can lock up. Bottom line: never depend solely on your memory for these things. 🙂
