How Do I Create an Instrument Driver for Visual C++ from the LabWindows/CVI Instrument Driver?

I am making an interchangable measurement program in Visual C++ and I tried using NI Agilent drivers but the new drivers don't have DLL's I was wondering if Ican make drivers and have MAX read it an duse the class driver  to control the spectrum Analyzer? Is there any document or examples showing how to do this or any better solution?

Don't know why you posted this question to the LabVIEW board.

You don't provide much information. Exactly what driver are you trying to use? "New" drivers have a dll - especially if it's an IVI driver. If it's an old CVI driver with just .c,.h, and .fp files, then you would have to create an IVI driver from that and build the dll. I've only used CVI for that. I don't know if you can use Visual Studio to create an IVI-C driver. You might want to post that question in a more appropriate forum.

Zeino,

Please link this post to your new forum post you create. In addition, as Dennis suggested if you could list the specific driver that you are trying to use in Visual Studio that would help.
