How I can send serial NI cFP-2220 output to RTU IEC 60870-5-101 ?

Hello,

I have to send my calculated data to remote SCADA via RTU which work on  IEC 60870-5-101.

Does anybody have experience how I can send it via my serial port on NI cFP-2220?

Thanks

Hi Mujo,

I don't know of any current examples or drivers for the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol. However, I did some research and NI is preparing a new driver for the IEC 60870-5-101 protocol that should be available as a beta later in the spring.

If you need something in the meantime, you may need to roll your own.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for answer but can you tell me more precisely when it will be. We finished whole application and only need this possibility. Customers need some information about time.

Thanks
