I am trying to put a timestamp on pictures acquire through a firewire camera. I want to do it like most digital camera's feature of putting the date directly on the picture. I'm not sure how to do it. Any tips or advices are greatly appreciated.

If you have the NI Vision Toolkit then you can use the "IMAQ Overlay Text" function followed by the "IMAQ Merge Overlay" function to do what you ask.
