How can I determine the earler version of Labview that was used to create a VI ?

I am using a VI supplied by a 3rd party vendor.  I would like to determine the version of Labview they used to create the VI (ie. V5.1 or V6.0).  Is there a way to do that?

If you are using the vi in the development mode the first time you open it you will see the "change asterix" in the title bar. When you go to close (not "save") the vi you will be asked whether you want to save it. If you first select "Explain changes" it will have an entry for vi converted from a previous version. Clicking on that will tell you what version it developed in.

It is recorded under "current changes"  in the VI properties. Have a look at THIS post (containing the following image).
