How can I get a JPEG of my front panel and block diagrams at the maximum resolution?

Is there a proven built in function to create a jpeg of the front panel and blosk diagram that is high quality. I've been caopying into photoshop and saving in there but it lacks quality.

Cheers

There are 2 VI class methods which should help you, Get Panel Image and Print VI to HTML. You can use them by placing an Invoke Node on the BD and changing the class to VI. You may find it easier to take the code which exists in the report VIs, it already does the stuff for you.

Note that the JPEG format is not really suitable for storing screenshots. JPEG is a lossy compression technology which gives you fuzzy text and ringing artifacts around lines. A better choice is GIF or PNG, which use a lossless compression scheme. The large expanses of same color compress very well. If you reduce your color depth to 256 colors with an optimized palette and save as a maximally compressed GIF or PNG, the result is often smaller than the JPEG and looks much better. Depending upon your version of LabVIEW, it supports GIF and/or PNG output.
