How can I measure the period of a pulse signal created in a Control and Simulation Loop?

I have tried using the ''Pulse Measurements'' vi, but it is not working like it does outside the Control and Simulation Loop. Are there any adjustments I can make to use the Pulse Measurements vi in the CaS loop, or is there another way to do this that would be better? I have attached a copy of my block diagram.

could you please describe exactly what's the effect using the VI in a case loop?

Could you please reduce your vi and post it again? I'm not able to execute your VI because there are several missing subVIs.
