How can i load Vision Builder AI API to the labview and run a inspection via Labview

Hi,

I want to import an inspection into the Labview but I'm having some problems. I've been searching for a long time and the solutions I found didn't work. I reinstalled all the programs, installed all the drivers, read the readme documentation, I think I didn't make any mistakes during the installation, but nothing changed. I am using LV21(32bit) and VBAI2020(32bit) and also Vision Assistant and Vision Development Module are installed with all its components.

The method in the link will solve all my problems, but the vbai interface vi's seem to be missing in Vision and Motion > Vision Builder AI. Therefore I cannot run the program in Labview.

The tools I have are like this in the picture, but the vbai interface vi's are missing. This is available in old versions (ex. LV15), but I could not install it in any way in v2021.

When I want to convert the inspection file in VBAI with migrate to Labview, it performs the conversion, but when I open the main program, it gives a fatal error memorymanager.cpp error. I don't understand why the problem occurs. I also research the memorymanager error but I couldn't find anything spesific.

I would appreciate any help, thank you.

It is not clear (to me) that LabVIEW 2021 will support VBAI 2020.  As someone who waited until this month to be able to use a myRIO with a version of LabVIEW more recent than LabVIEW 2019 (because of lack of a more recent version than the myRIO Software Toolkit 2019), you may need to revert to LabVIEW 2020 to use VBAI.

If you choose to take this step, you can try installing LabVIEW 2020 "on top of" LabVIEW 2021.  However, my advice would be to do a (careful) full removal of all NI Software, then a fresh reinstall of LabVIEW 2020, Toolkits and Modules, and finally Drivers.  [I found an interesting NI note on "How to install LabVIEW" that mentioned this order, one I learned with LabVIEW 7, but one that NIPM appears to ignore ... what's with that?].

Hi Bob,

When I examined the VBAI source documents, I was informed that Labview must be the same or higher than the VBAI version and the bit levels of the two programs must be the same for conversion. Therefore I did not install the v20 version of Labview.

I did not try this method because I hate uninstalling and installing Labview and its drivers over and over 🙂 But I'll try that too and let you know again. Thanks for the answer.
