How can i read in a waveform, Then write it to a spreadsheet

I want to read in at least two signals to labview. These are then sampled and i them want to write them to a spreadsheet so as they can be graphed for analysis, Every time i do this it gives me a GPIB error or a DMA error. With much searching  i cant find the problem, This i for my final year project.

I don't think you're getting a GPIB error. The error message probably says something like

Possible Reasons:

LabVIEW: some message

NI-GPIB: some DMA message

Unless you're actually are using GPIB, the pertinent message would be the LabVIEW one. What is the actual error code that you're getting? What function are you using to write the data? Can you post your VI or an image of the block diagram (no bmp file. please) so someone can look at it?
